Hi There, I'm Perita!

I’m a certified Christian life & business coach who helps motivate women to put their God-given gifts to the best use, that way they fulfill God’s plan for their lives. I’m also a mother, international best-selling author, mentor, and friend. I love spending time with my son and surrounding myself with other women who endeavor to make the world a better place! I also enjoy attending church and involving myself with women-led organizations and empowerment groups. I rarely have a free moment, but when I do, I use the time to relax, go on a walk, or observe art. I particularly like realism & cubism. Occasionally, I make art too!

Let me tell you

MY STORY

I grew up with a mother who battled low self-esteem and lacked confidence, due largely to the abusive relationship she was in. I always noticed my mother’s value, so it broke my heart that she didn’t fight for her worth. On the other hand, my grandmother, who raised me, knew her value and worth! Despite having 13 children, she always treated us as individuals and ensured we knew our worth. She was a phenomenal woman who was organized and implemented strategies to achieve the desired result. I got my tenacity from my grandmother, but I got the Christian aspect from my mother. She’s responsible for instilling biblical principles in me. She’d take me to church so I could know who God is. My mom taught me that as a child of God, I was worthy. I’m forever grateful that my mom had enough strength to help her children see that we were worthy. Both of those women had such a lasting and direct impact on who I am today!

I always had the business aspect and desired to help businesses expand and implement their visions, so I knew I wanted to study business! I’ve had the privilege of traveling and experiencing many different cultures, and lifestyles. I've always been able to add to my knowledge of business along the way. I was one of 5 people selected out of 50 students to go to China and study business. Later on, I was also chosen to go to Montreal and study French in addition to business. I took the lessons I learned from my time in China and Montreal with me when I went on missionary trips to Africa, Ecuador, and Brazil. On these trips, I mainly spoke about the Bible, lighting other people’s candles and letting them know their prayers were heard, but I also took the time to help practically. I saw how they could utilize the gifts and talents they possessed, so I taught them business skills.

A big passion of mine is writing. I’ve been an inspirational writer all my life! I always write books based on life and add a biblical perspective. I’ve had the honor of becoming a 6-time best-selling author, most recently an international best-selling author. I work with other published authors and assist them in marketing their books, getting out of their way, and figuring out how to capitalize on making their books a movement. I help them get their books seen and tell their story utilizing speaking engagements and events. I use my knowledge as an author and businesswoman to help other authors learn to use their books as a business. Wherever needed, I also assist in writing books.

Me in a nutshell: When I see the needs and hurts of others, I have to jump in and help! I strive to use the tenacity I’ve been gifted with to help others see how they can win, and overcome. I’m a trailblazer, advocate, and forever a fighter for the “little guy.”
